When I opened them up I was convinced they would never fit. I usually order XL in sweatpants. Upon opening them they looked so tiny I immediately thought I had ordered the wrong size and wondered if they would be too big for my daughter. However, when you put them on, think of them like pantyhose, pull them up your legs in a similar way, and the compression isn't too much, that's actually the thing, even me. The waist is nice and wide. They kept opening up until they felt like a second skin. I'm tall and carry my weight on my stomach. They don't feel short at the waist! I often have a problem!
