When something seems too good to be true. it is because it is. 2TB hard drive compatible with USB 3.0? Sign me up. And then I got it, plugged it in, and tried to copy some big backup files onto it. The writing speed is 5 MB/s. it's slow For example, USB 1.0 speed is slow. I was trying to copy a 17.5GB directory to a USB stick and it took over 40 minutes. Even small files take forever. If I could just return this (I live abroad and have been waiting for this for 2 months) I would have done so immediately. Don't let the price fool you, it's not worth your money at all. I'm assuming it can store 2TB of data, but considering how long it would take to transfer 2TB of data to it, I'll never know.
