My husband says that it was easy to install on a 9-year-old 40-inch LG TV. The screws that came with it didn't fit, but he had a few that did. The legs themselves are sturdy but could use a bit more stability. There may be a gap between the legs. We use our TV in a built in cabinet but if you use it outdoors or have kids I would suggest using a seat belt to hold it better.
