I have used this in 2 of my shrimp tanks. One of them had its PH drop below 6 after about 24 hours. Another has had its PH drop, not much but probably only because I did a water change after adding the product. I'm sure this product works great if you have a high carb in your water, but if you have a low carb, which is common in shrimp tanks, this product seems to deplete the remaining carb and raise your PH to decrease value. especially after repeated use. Update: Tried using this product again in more stable, higher KH water. The PH didn't drop but 6 of my cherry shrimp died. I've done several large water changes. Another 10 of my shrimp died. I have never lost so many cherry shrimp in such a short time. It's like a product burned by shrimp, damaging their shell. CORDON I HOPE THEY GO OUT OF BUSINESS.
