I regularly ride rough and twisty mountain roads and this keeps my phone quiet. It didn't fall out of the CD slot at all. I also like how it automatically opens and closes to accept and release the phone and holds it much better than the gravity/spring activated ones. Due to the design of my car I either have to install it to partially cover either the central air conditioning vents or the radio screen, but I knew I would fit. into the CD slot as securely as it was originally. The silicone pads are pressed against the mold they are clamped into by pressure and probably the extreme heat in the car in the desert summer. Easily set with a few thin coats of Plasti-Dip (I decant some from an aerosol can and apply with a cotton swab). Allow it to fully heal before reinstalling. Since then no problems. Another issue, a small one, is that after months of driving horrible roads, the phone's bottom adjustable latch now just slides down. It still charges there, so I haven't tried to fix it. I'm pretty sure I can superglue it as it doesn't really require any tweaking. I would definitely buy it again and unless you have extreme conditions like me I doubt you will have any problems.
