I had a bad aquasoil, I had to reset my tank due to heavy algae infestation, partly because of the aquasoil, partly because of negligence on my part. I have Rotala Bangladesh (before algae) that are not growing, most plants grew very little especially after the aquasoil broke and failed. I reset the entire tank, removed the algae and used the 2 hour aquarist EI. Within a week of using it, I had improved plant growth and nicer, deeper colors. I bought it because I didn't have too much time to make my DIY solution, it's definitely worth the penny. The algae photo is from me in Bangladesh a week before reloading the tank, another one a week after. Big difference. No mixing required, just follow the directions.
