Review on BAL R V Products Group 29033 by Lee Rodriguez

I ordered this as a replacement when the original BAL drawbar broke on my 12 year old motorhome. At first I thought these jacks were all the same diameter (2.25") so I went to my local camper shop and picked out another brand that said it was 2.25" in diameter. When I tried to install it it went through the top hole in the frame but not the bottom hole! I went back and measured the outer tube on the old bushing and it turned out that the original BAL bushing was 2.20" in diameter, not 2.25". Rather than machining the bottom hole in the frame to accommodate the slightly larger diameter bushing I bought, I took a chance and ordered this BAL bushing, hoping that it would also be a 2.20" diameter and not the 2.25" as advertised. . When it arrived I immediately measured the diameter and in fact it was 2.20 inches. I've read other posts on the web where people have had trouble installing replacement bushings, this probably explains some of the problems. I'm just glad it fits, but it would be nice if they corrected the advertised specs.
