Very pretty but I agree they shouldn't portray it.
Very nice, but I agree that they shouldn't show it with a brown lid, it's deceptive. I expected the cover to come with it. This caused me a lot of anxiety and time searching and searching to see if I had lost the lid only to find out it wasn't there. I think they should take the actual picture and replace it with ONE clapboard with no cover so you know what you are getting. The pitcher itself is large and very beautiful. You must order the lid separately. So if you buy the pitcher, lid, and weight, you're investing about $100.
