I don't think the TV mount made the installation difficult, it was what's behind the wall in the basement compartment for our RV. My husband installed boards on the wall for a support system. The bolts that attach to the swing arm mount seem to want to strip, but I will seek help from the company and if unsatisfied I will update my review. We prefer not to store our TV in a storage compartment, so this mount is easy to remove when on the go, simply by loosening a hand screw on the swing arm and pressing the mount against the wall. UPDATE: The company did an excellent job of delivering what I needed. ! I have nothing to complain about and would buy another one.
