Just received this yesterday and was surprised to see it in a large package! I was pleasantly surprised to learn that it was packed in two boxes just to avoid damaging it. At first sight, it looks so cute and exactly like the pictures. It's not overly heavy, and the white luggage aesthetic definitely adds some bonuses. At first I didn't connect anything, just turned it on because it had a "battery" left over since you can charge this player. As I didn't have any vinyl handy - can't comment on how a real turntable works, but I tried to connect my phone via bluetooth. **In order to connect my phone via Bluetooth, I had to plug the player into a power outlet. I don't know why, but it just worked for me. The sound it produces reminds me a bit of the sound of a record player, but I don't know if it's just my mind playing tricks on me - but the sound quality is excellent and the speakers can work. to a very large size! Overall you get what you pay for and I would recommend it to anyone interested - well worth the investment!
