I have used many cases for various tablet devices over the years but this is by far the best I have ever bought. Now I say that with the caveat that I've only had the case for a few days so it's too early to tell how it's going to be worn. Other than that, it looks and feels very good, so I'm not worried it won't outlast the life of my iPad. It always seems to me that I have a hard time finding cases that offer good protection without adding bulk and weight. This follows the line perfectly. My iPad is still very comfortable to hold and wear in the case. I also love all the creative possibilities of this case. The pen holder is great. It still charges because it's in the right place next to the iPad, but now I don't have to worry about my $120 pen falling out and getting lost. I also found a small strap for my hand very useful and never thought I would use something like this until I tried it. The hull looks good. And yes, the cover is faux leather. Um, I mean "synthetic", but for this price I'll take it.
