I recently bought this handy stitch to hem some oversized dresses. At first I tried to finish the work with a hand stitch, but it was too strenuous and the lines came out crooked. I didn't buy a big sewing machine because it takes up a lot of space. However, Handy Stitch made this task so simple and easy and solved all these problems. There was no complicated setup process: I just popped in the batteries and it was ready to go! I can hem an entire dress in less than 10 minutes! The hem line was also very straight and neat. Also, because of its compact size, I can store it in a small drawer and it doesn't take up space at all!
