Review on πŸ”Œ Next-Level Connectivity: Pioneer In-Dash Bluetooth CD/MP3 Stereo Receiver with USB, Auxiliary & Dual Phone Connection by Amy Johnson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Get one before they disappear!

No I don't work for Pioneer or Revain. I bought one of these units used here at Revain. Probably sent back because of the bright display. Okay, pretty bright. But of course tolerable on a deep blue background. My device had no microphone and no set of screws. Well, I loosened a lot of screws, so it's not a problem (pun intended). I quickly found a replacement for the microphone. (Kenwood KCA-MC10 - $15). The sound quality is much better than my original 2003 Subaru Legacy radio, it's amazing. Installation was a breeze as I got the Subaru adapter ($8 here on Amazon) and soldered those wires to the included wiring harness - everything is coded correctly! Fits directly into the OEM port and does not require a trim ring! Just take one out and replace it with another. Just don't forget to attach the microphone and antenna cables before putting everything back together! Lots of ways to use the equalizer including 2 custom settings. Programming was pretty easy (unless you're a dinosaur). Plays CDs very well. I play my USB smart drive with no problems. You just need to properly organize your songs into folders to make them easier to find. The Bluetooth connection was straightforward (I once set my Atrix 4G to discoverable). Now I can listen to music and when a call comes in the sound changes to an incoming call notification and all I have to do is press the phone button to answer the call. I'm not much of a driving talker (I was born at a time when cell phones were considered science fiction), but this is a real convenience for the seller. And surprisingly, the sound is very clear on both sides. This was by far the most enjoyable car stereo purchase I have ever made!
