I love that there are two sizes of glitter that reflect the light on the star even when it's not lit. Even without a projector, this would be a nice Christmas tree topper. It's a great size for a six foot tree and the projection is truly amazing! There are two types of snowflakes and then the snowflakes dance around each other in the picture on your ceiling. As with any projector, physics dictates that the further you project, the larger the image. It's small and skinny at 8 feet and will be even cooler with higher ceilings. This seems like something you'll just have to experiment with depending on your tree height and ceiling height.
