Review on 48 Bottles Clear Gel Nail Polish Organizer Case Holder with Adjustable Space Divider for Acrylic Nail Polygel, Gel Dip Powder Tips Set, and Two Toe Separators by Mariah Garrett

I would have ordered these!

I shopped for quite a long time before choosing them as I often do. They store all my polishes in a way that's easy to access by number, which I love! Being new they have done their job perfectly so far but I am afraid that eventually the locking mechanism will loosen and open easily. The other one I looked at are advertised "double locking" mechanisms and this one only locks when you close it because you are opening the edge of the door and making room for the part that latches to close the obstruction overcome what keeps them closed. If I had known, I probably would have ordered another one. I chose this one because the size was advertised as slightly smaller than the other (WRONG!) and I wanted to make sure it would fit on the shelf I reserved for her. They fit but NOT smaller than the ones I looked at. It's all 13 inches and not an iota less! I also paid a little more for them because they had prime shipping and I didn't want to wait for other sellers to ship the same item. I like that this one opens from the side (rather than the top), but then again I think most of them are open. All complaints aside - so far so good. They seem sturdy enough to hold a full load of nail polish, although mine weren't all small plastic bottles half filled with gel polish. One thing I want to mention because I had this question is that you can see the numbers at the top of the bottles even on the bottom row. When my pickiest customer chooses a pattern (it's a joke because I only do manicures for myself and my adult daughter), I want to be able to go to them right by number, and I don't want to open the door to look up the numbers to find the right one. As you can see from my photos, I taped the labels on each side so I know which cover I need and which polished side I want to find. I really like being organized and not having to worry about the polishes accidentally shifting around like I often did when I kept them all in a box of homemade frames. I couldn't even pick up the box without them moving and it was difficult to look inside to pick the right number. Now I can go straight to what I want and it will never be out of place. I can even bring the whole suitcase (I don't keep them where I actually get my nails done) if she likes a certain color palette because they're all together, in the right order every time! If you get gel nails and can't see the colors, this is the perfect way to organize them! (If they don't have numbers above, consider getting essential oil stickers and adding them yourself.) I had 46 flowers, but I recently ordered 48 more and didn't want to arrange them in a way that wouldn't work for me. Oh, and if you're thinking that there are 48 nail polish spots and the rest are just bonus accessory spots, you're wrong. You must use ALL the stains to get 48 polishes in a box! Mind you, I can't speak to the size of each pocket for other occasions, and they're big enough that if I needed more space, I could fit two gel nail polishes in each pocket, which is worth noting. Even the beetles are round. All in all I would definitely order a case like this but I would probably go for the one with double locks because as far as I can tell they are just more expensive and basically the same.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • I'm worried about these
