This is the perfect hideout for my cat who just became roommates with the dog I rescued. At first they were contradictory, and the cat spent a lot of time under the furniture in the corner. Now he has an open "cave" away from the new dog where he can feel warm, safe and secure until they decide to become friends, which should happen soon. The cave is light but the construction is better than I expected. Inside there is enough space for my cat to curl up and sleep or just watch what's going on around him. The interior is padded for comfort, but there's also room for additional padding for warmth. As said, good construction, quality materials, simply a good investment in cat comfort.
