I have several security cameras that capture wild animals outside when their movement triggers a motion sensor. Although these cameras have a screen and can play videos, the screen is small and the user interface is not suitable for viewing multiple clips. So it would be very helpful to be able to watch these videos on the big screen of my phone. But my phone has no SD card slot; only one USB Type-C port. This little adapter supports both micro and standard sized SD cards and includes a USB-C port to connect to my phone. When I plug it in, the files appear immediately and I use VLC Media Play to view clips. Very convenient. Also, this adapter has two more USB ports (in one) so I can plug it directly into my PC or other device. Very cool.
