As mentioned in another review, this ball mouse sticks with use. That means the ball will catch, get stuck or stutter and can jam as you use it at seemingly random times and even continue the same movement. I took it apart to make sure all the bearings were loose, 2 of them seemed to be stuck, and manually rotated them with my thumb to try and get them in. Ball with the palm of my hand for maybe 5 minutes which didn't solve the problem. I've been using it on my workstation for 16 hours and the problem hasn't diminished. Have you been using trackball mice for decades? I honestly can't remember but I have 4 others except 3 from a company that stopped making my favorite wires with no intention of giving them any press, thanks, and such an early wire type that so bad thing was that it was freshly mothballed and it's the worst functional thing ever. I'm not sure what's wrong, but after cleaning it up and comparing it to others [I have precision industrial manufacturing experience], I think it's a design flaw. They were not allowed to leave the factory. It's a pity really, because you can tell that a lot of time and great skill went into the manufacture of this product. It just doesn't work properly.
