Design or manufacturing flaw

As mentioned in another review, this ball mouse sticks with use. That means the ball will catch, get stuck or stutter and can jam as you use it at seemingly random times and even continue the same movement. I took it apart to make sure all the bearings were loose, 2 of them seemed to be stuck, and manually rotated them with my thumb to try and get them in. Ball with the palm of my hand for maybe 5 minutes which didn't solve the problem. I've been using it on my workstation for 16 hours and the…

improved them a lot), and there weren't any 'updated' Logitech mice available when I she needed. At first this mouse felt a little small compared to Logitech, but after just a few hours of use I got used to it and found it very comfortable. My only issue with this was that the ball was sooooo much less fluid than the Logitech one. For most tasks, this doesn't matter much. But one of the programs I actively use in my work requires extremely discrete, specific cursor placement. The slightly rough

Made in China by Computer & Accessories

I have always used a ball mouse for 30 years. I started with Logi Tech. I loved her. The reason I went to them was that a regular mouse made my wrist so sore. I had wrist surgery once and didn't want to go through it again. So I switched to them so many years ago. They lasted several years when I first started buying them. Then they started making them in China. I have a box full of mice with a broken tech logo. What I did was flip the switches on the mice as they were starting to wear out so…

Never buy another brand trackball

I bought this trackball as a wired alternative to my wireless Logitech M570. My main reason for switching was the poor signal stability of a Logitech product. Occasionally, when the trackball was more than 3-4 feet away from the USB receiver plugged into the laptop, the trackball would become unresponsive and shake. I wanted to look for Logitech's wired option but saw that they were out of stock and that's when I came across ELECOM and their line of products. What particularly drew me to this…

Long-term comparison of MX Ergo users.

I've been using MX Ergo for a long time. I lost my Logitech Unifying receiver last week and decided now is the time to try this Elecom which I was looking at mostly out of curiosity. I use trackballs for everything from web surfing to Photoshop to FPS gaming. I'll buy another Unifying receiver and probably put that trackball aside, but it's not all bad. I like that the mouse is wired. The DPI switch is handy, and having the "sniper" mode as a third click instead of a button next to the ball is…

*EDIT* Works fine after a short break in period

First impression WAS this thing was awful. The on-screen mouse pointer WAS very shaky and sometimes got stuck. I tried the old red Logitech ball with the same results. I'll try the ball from the new Logitech and maybe try to order one of the blue balls people are talking about. But since the OEM sphere and the Logitech red sphere show similar results, my hopes were low. Aside from shaking and pausing the mouse pointer, the mouse itself seems small. And I don't have big hands. A size I think I…
