This product burns your hair and barely curls it unless you hold it for more than 30-35 seconds on each section. It did curl,but my hair smells really burnt. Also, the metal stand that holds the wand up off the counter (so it doesn’t burn your counter), well it lays right onto the hot part that curls your hair causing it to get just as hot as the wand. They are many bags with labels in the box. The labels do not actually correspond to the instructions so you will need to hunt for pieces from various bag as you follow the instructions. The instructions are too hard for a 6 year old because some pieces have features, such as ribbing, which are not displayed in the instructions. So it is easy to start the build with the wrong pieces. Seems like it would work well on a Wii. I bought it for use on my PC and can't get it to connect for some reason but it's nothing to do with the remote, it's something I can't figure out on my game settings. My computer recognizes it as a Wii remote using a bluetooth dongle. Since I can't figure out how to get it working, I can't provide feedback on it other than the feel and quality, both feel nice. I had hoped this was similar to the last few like types of lights I've purchased. Those have a base just like this, but the bases had the wiring built in. You screw the base to the ceiling, attach the wires, and the light itself simply goes on and rotates and has the metal pickups where the metal parts of the base will be when it's fully turned.This is NOT like that, so it's not nearly as simple to install.
