This was not my first experience with strip lights, so I was very pleased at the thick, flexible base material on this strip. They are not self adhesive, so be prepared to affix them in some other fashion or purchase double sided adhesive to use with them. also be prepared to give yourself a little room for bends in the string of lights since the heavy base will not allow you to double back without a bit of leeway. The lights are bright and mostly work well. The plastic covering is nice.2 big problems:1. The included plugs use dangerously thin wiring. It looks like 22g. With only 1/3rd a strip (9 feet) connected, the wiring heats up significantly. You need to replace the plug with 16g wiring if you want to use most or all the strip.2. 3 of the LEDs are wrong temperature. Most of the strip is correct warm lights, but these 3 were cool.

I ordered 3 strips at 2 different times. None of them came with adhesive tape. I am fine with that. Maybe even prefer that. But it should be very clear that this is the case in the listing. The tape adds cost, is not trivial to install, and should be considered in the decision.However, the illumination is super good. I love the density of the LEDs, the waterproof vinyl jacket, and the color temp. Brilliant white but no hint of blue. Just right IMO.

The 2835 LEDs gave me the light I needed. I was amazed by how much light these little LEDs give off. I am not an expert but I'm not sure if these lights are warm. I get this feeling they are not Warm. I also made a big mistake when cutting the wires. It looks like you can cut after every three LEDs but that's not the case. I installed these on 110' of deck railing then again on a hot tub privacy wall. Total 8 rolls. Originally I looked up LED strips, wattage, etc. For some reason I thought 1 300w would run the deck railing and not even be at the 80% capacity. After testing on the privacy wall (4 full strips) the 300w converter was hot. I did some closer checking on these specific ones and realized you're looking at approx 120w per roll (4 rolls = 480w) Nobody sells a 600w that I could find so I had to re-wire and

The lights are very bright as expected, just a bit warm St 100%. I ran with aluminum channels so some heat is disapated. I run at 60% currently all day with almost no airflow, seems to be fine.

The gauge of the wire that connects to the power supply is so thin and inadequate that it makes me sad. After buying so many different LED's to light my room, these are the best I found.BUT like I said the wire gets so hot it melted the connector to the AC adapter. I replaced the connector and then after it went back on I realised that the wire quickly got so hot it can burn me. I fear it will burn itself up if I leave the lights on.

These are very, very bright with excellent light quality (color temperature & CRI). They also dim well with a PWM controller.I cut these into small segments to use with landscape lighting. They can be cut every 6 LEDs (about 1.5 inches). Each strip was soldered and then waterproofed with clear caulk. A 12-LED strip drawing 1.2W is brighter than the 3W LED module they replaced. The setup is working well now, will update after several months to see if they last. So far so good.

I used this product to light up my deck. Turned it on a number of times. Then it suddenly blew out, sparked and the light melted the strip and it broke apart. I followed all the instructions in the packaging so I do not have confidence that this product is safe.

Mine were perminently installed 2 years ago and 3/4 of the strip is no longer working. Don't expect these to last very long.

The quality is pretty good. I like the color and brightness. Compare to other cheaper product, this one is really outstanding. Especially the brightness. It really make a big difference.

These strip lights were very good. The 3M adhesive strip on the backside of these LEDs was fantasSTICK! (Yes. a play on words) lol. Much better adhesive than other strip lights. For best adhesion, get yourself a can of 3M 94 Primer.worth every Penney, about $21.00 per pint. This makes the strip lights stick forever! You can not remove the lights without destroying them. This Led strip is great, It has a great brightness (more than expected), and it's really easy to use and adapt to any house/business project, I have been using mine for 6 months, and it's still working as a new one. Definitely a great buy and for a GREAT PRICE.

I was able to cut and solder different lengths of this strip with no problem. The leds on this strip are closer together so I didn't even need to diffuse them for my project. The whole strip comes in a clear plastic rectangular sleeve so I just cut and held back, with alligator clips, the top portion of the sleeve to make it easier to solder the strips together.
