Didn't think I'd be in the market for a metal litter box. I've been using large plastic bottles for years. But this one is really more resistant to pollution. My big cat sometimes skips the litter and the litter doesn't stick to the metal as much. It just seems to be getting cleaner. The cats were not surprised by this change. This tray was the size I was looking for and in the same price range as the decent plastic trays I was looking at. It's more expensive than what you can buy at the grocery store, for example, but I expect it will last a few years.
