It's sturdy and the sides are high enough so if Kitty decides to clean up too hard, there won't be a lot of trash thrown away. Stainless steel so that there is no residual odor. Fits in the small space we prepared for the litter box. We had to put a little plastic tube from the hardware store around the edges because they're a bit sharp and we didn't want Kitty to get hurt.

I really like this tray. My cat is quite large and I had trouble finding a suitable box for her. This one is perfect! This is the only one I've found that's actually big enough to be comfortable in and not make a huge mess for the trash. Love the depth and the fact that it's stainless steel which was such a bonus when cleaning. I will never go back to a plastic box.

XL bowl wrong size on me. Gave me the measurements. I just didn't get it. However, they call it the XL High Wall Kitten Toilet. The walls are high but it's smaller than my usual tray.
