Review on Enhanced AMD Ryzen 5 1600X CPU (YD160XBCAEWOF) by Wiktor Wnkowicz ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

No complaints, I recommend to buy.

In order not to read this scribble, scroll to the very bottom =) Moved from i5 2500k. The old processor was very good, but it was not only physically but also morally obsolete. The choice fell on the reds. This was prompted by the hype, AMD PR and the policy of Intel (when they sent instructions to reviewers on how to view this stone) and I don’t regret it at all. The stone turned out to be quite productive, it is enough for all the tasks that it faces, namely games. As for overclocking, there is a double feeling. From under the bios, the stone extremely does not want to take a frequency above 3.6 with a voltage of 1.4 volts. And it works at a frequency of 2.2. Fuck knows what it is. , With a proprietary utility, he is chasing with a bang up to 4.1. In standard mode, under load, it is chasing up to 4 GHz. As for temperatures, it's not at all accurate. I have a CBO h115i with a socket adapter from NZXT. And the maximum temperature I noticed on hot summer days, yes they will come again in a year, was 61C. With all the controversy, I forgot to mention that this stone and the rest of its family are extremely willing to work with high frequency bars. To summarize: - The stone is powerful -Stone demanding on RAM - The stone is hot -Stone is ambiguous 7 Intel paid reviewers out of 10

Pros
  • - Cheap multi-threaded and multi-core CPU - Tears in synthetic tests - Chases well enough up to 4.1 MHz - Overall decent performance
Cons
  • -Dependent on high-frequency RAM -There are a lot of programs and applications that are not optimized for new processors.
