Review on 🔧 Adjustable Hanging Closet Rod - 30-48 Inch, White Finish - Design House 205823 by John Swain

I bought this for my wardrobe. The description says it mounts close to the wall, which is what I wanted. However, this does NOT work. There is a piece of metal sticking out on the side. I read the reviews before buying but didn't see anything like it. I was just going through some more reviews looking for info on this. I was offered to bend these metal sides so I could lean them against the wall. I'm not sure if it will be difficult or not. Or my other option is to buy additional products like wood to drill through the sides of the cabinet. Then the protruding piece will sit on top of the piece of wood. I bought it thinking it would be an easy and quick way to put the rod in the closet. Unfortunately it was in the box because I don't have the necessary equipment to bend the parts and I don't have any pieces of wood lying around. I can't comment on the durability yet as I haven't installed it yet. I will update later. I just wanted to post now to let others know I can't snuggle up against a wall.
