I've done quite a bit of research on how to absorb odors. I didn't want to add overly perfumed containers to the fragrances and mask them. Febreeze is great, maybe for a few hours and helps quickly, but I didn't want my house to stink. Everyone has smells, sometimes they bring back good memories, sometimes bad. I didn't want people to come out of my house and smell it on their clothes. Well I've had let's say elderly people come visit me for a week and God bless them I love them but they kind of smell. The room they were in quickly filled with their scent. Every time I passed her room, I closed the door because I didn't want the smell to spread throughout the house. It wasn't body odor or anything bad, but it was like a mixture of strong perfume and medicine, and maybe it was body odor, I don't know how to describe it, but it was strong and clear and lingering. I've already ordered those charcoal bags and put one in their room when they weren't there. a bigger one. I'm not kidding, the same day, maybe even a few hours later, the smell was GONE! I couldn't believe it. I didn't open the windows or clean anything. I put the bag in the corner of the room, outside the site, and the smell wasn't masked or masked by another smell, it just disappeared like it had been eaten by coal. On the other hand, it really works, you just charge the pouches in the sun for a few hours to keep them going and absorb any stinky odors. Even in winter.
