Mostly good: Recommended

Having just bought a new digital camera and some lenses, I needed a bag with storage compartments. That's why I had a few thoughts after the purchase. Pros: It does exactly what it was designed to do; it keeps the components separate and soft. It has compartments where you can put regular items like cables, pens, wallet, passport, laptop, etc. It has plenty of zippers to get in and out of each compartment except for the innermost compartments which are good for protecting delicate items. It is quite light for the size of a backpack. Heavy duty frame around perimeter to maintain shape. Many ways to lift the backpack, which is very helpful when traveling on planes, trains, buses, etc. Cons: 1. This article is both a plus and a minus. The compartments are adjustable in size thanks to the edges with Velcro. In use, I noticed that if you frequently adjust the walls of your compartments, the material on the side wears out fairly quickly. Also, this velcro scratches your hands when you put things in and out of the compartments. I think it's possible to develop a better system, like buttons, zippers or buttons. just something other than velcro. Bottom line, the pros far outweigh the cons and I have been able to use this backpack throughout Australia and New Zealand. It worked very well on its first trip.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
