These webs are definitely different from the regular webs you buy in the Halloween shop. They are made of a much softer, thinner material that stretches much less effectively through an opening (e.g. a door) but adheres better to flat surfaces (e.g. the brick facade of a house). to break it up into smaller pieces if needed, but also lighter, which can be good or bad depending on your needs. Unfortunately they didn't really work for what I originally wanted so I wrapped them around tree trunks and strung them over bushes and it worked fine. Essentially, they require basic support - unlike a "regular" net, they have no overall effect when stretched outdoors. I had to take a few more typical tracks from the store to complete my display. I would still buy again just with more understanding of what this style of weaving is used for. The light, thin appearance looks a little more realistic than a regular spider web up close, but when both are used together for the same outdoor display, they all look great together. the sticky smell of bread rising. Not bad, but definitely weird.
