I only paid $6 for 20 brushes, I didn't expect more glamorous brushes so I'll tell you, you get what you pay for. As I said, these brushes were made cheaply, which is not surprising. 2 of these have already fallen apart, the tip of the brush fell off, I think it wasn't glued properly and the other brush had its bristles fall off after I ran it once over the back of my hand to feel how soft it was . Of the 20 brushes I left 18 and cut or adjusted 4 to my liking. I will say the brushes are soft on my skin, none of them were hard. One of them had some dry glue on the brush but I just held it under water to loosen it; The brush has not been damaged, so everything is fine. I tried them with some eye shadow and they cast the eye shadow well, the blend was ok not the best but it did what I needed so I'm ok. I love the variety of brush sizes and shapes, this is what I was looking for the most, and I love the purple color. I just wish they stuck a little better.
