I really like these brushes. All but one were of exceptional quality. Unfortunately, the one that was bad had a crooked grip. It was too uncomfortable to hold. The bristles of the brush are hard but very soft. They also tolerate cleaning well. The rose gold is beautiful and really makes her stand out. The reason I deducted a star is because I had an issue with one brush and also some of the pen nibs (about 5). I don't understand why people have a huge problem and give such bad reviews about it.
