I have never changed the shower head. I think I made it more complicated than it should be. Let me tell you it was that easy. And I'm a lot happier for it. It's just a little more punch than our original head, but it's just perfect. My complaint would be about the plastic clutch. This is the part that needs to be metal. I am concerned about its durability due to temperature changes from hot water causing cracking. For the price you can't beat it. I haven't had any problems with leaking connection points in the past week since installation.
