Review on SmartyKat Triple Tower Carpeted Scratch by Laura Arnett

Revainrating 5 out of 5

My kittens love it!

I adopted two kittens and bought this scratching post to avoid scratching the furniture. I didn't expect how much they would enjoy climbing! They also scratch the sisal part and do not scratch the furniture. Goal achieved! I definitely recommend this post for kittens based on my experience. The kittens love climbing this thing, especially when I have a rope toy and they have to climb up the post to get the toy. For them, this is a great way to unleash all the kitten's energy while playing a fun game! They also love the velcro toys that come in the mail. I will put these toys upstairs and they will happily climb up to get them. They are crazy about catnip! You can rearrange three sections, so I'll probably put part of the rug on top because toys stick to the rug better than burlap. The toys also stick to the fabric on the base and the kittens like to try and detach the toys from the base. The stand is strong enough for both kittens to climb on at the same time. They are 4 months old. I think I'll need a bigger one as the kittens grow. It looks like it's going to tip over when my kitty runs up and jumps up, but it's against a wall so it's not going anywhere. I might stick it on the wall when they get bigger. The assembly was very easy. The tighter the screw below, the better. I thought it might wobble after we put it together but there weren't any stability issues. The base seems to have enough weight to hold it in place and the bottom screw hasn't come loose yet. I had a batch of kittens playing on it for a week.
