A hole in the skin could be patched. This is something that takes practice to get really good at. The set worked well, my only complaint would be that the patch got thicker. It's really liquid so using it to tape the edges of my skin tear was tiring. Too bad I didn't think ahead and used some superglue first. Live and learn, the plaster liquid really filled the tear slit and "glued" everything back well. You can definitely tell where the patch is, but it's more of a texture. No band-aid like this will give you that texture back unless you find a way to bring the texture into it while it dries. All said and done, I am happy with this product. As long as I keep it sealed so it doesn't dry out, it should last a long, long time. Almost never used a single bottle. Easy to use, just take your time.
