Review on Dayton Audio MK402X Bookshelf Speaker by Doris Allen

I bought these to replace some Dayton Audio 6-1/4" bookshelf speakers that I had assembled as a kit from Parts Express and have since moved from my desk to my living room sound system. The 1/4" basses perform pretty well for their size and these 4" models live up to the same heritage! I only hook them up to a 25 watt amp but the fidelity and bass are ok incredible! Don't wait for the concert. db levels, but if you listen to them at a reasonable or even quite high volume, they sound perfect. The 4" drivers have a very large rubber surround, which allows the cone to move a lot. The bass can drop to very low frequencies and the beats are tight, you won't be disappointed!
