I'm a special effects makeup artist and I've never touched embossing sponges. Tragic I know. I ordered these to help me create my Halloween costume. Now I'm a lifelong prisoner to polka dot lips. They're amazing and offer just the right amount of coverage for textured looks. My only downside (but not enough to deduct a star) is that they still seem expensive. I find it should be less than a dollar a piece. Overall still happy with my purchase.
