My son has wide, thick feet (he is in the step rite at the end of 8 widths). He wore XWs in everything for years and now Wides in every shoe he wears (boots are random, some are sold wider. There is no specific width boot). He currently wears a pair of 8 Western Chief boots. I tried this brand at 9. She says wide. The length was ok for a 9 but his foot was WRAPPED in the width and thickness of the boot. give zero. So I have to send them back. I like that it's natural rubber, which is said to be less toxic, but the boots smelled very strongly of gasoline fumes, so I'm a little curious. I used to buy natural rubber boots (Stonz brand for my little kid and as far as I remember they didn't smell much).
