We started this because Silky lost most of his teeth and couldn't eat pellets. After he died our 4 other dogs caught the rat and didn't release it. We were concerned because the neighbors on all sides use tons of poison, so we didn't want the dogs to eat the poisoned rats. It turns out they love Moist & Meaty more than rat meat, and when offered a rat in return, they quickly declined. Now when they catch wild animals (possums, raccoons, rats, mice, birds, etc.) they bring them straight to us in exchange for a bag of raw and meaty.
