I bought them for my younger children aged 9-11 because adult gaiters don't stay on the face and we all tired of wearing false masks. When unstretched, they are 10 inches long and 7.5 inches wide (flat). My kids have an average head size for their age and these masks fit them perfectly - they stretch slightly to fit over their heads, staying snug on their faces but not so tight that it pinches their noses or makes it impossible to speak /to breathe. I especially liked the length - they cover my kids nose and mouth without leaving an uncomfortable scarf of unused fabric around their necks. They also fitted my face but were a little tight. and felt like they were flattening my whole nose. The fabric is breathable and easy to wash, and it was a breeze to put on and take off. Good buy.
