Review on SB Organics Chocolate Protein Powder by Willie Carrera

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I've tried different methods and I think I've found the best one that works for me.

I have problems with it. I tried different methods and I think I found the best one that works for me. I first tried vanilla flavored light soy milk (1 cup), 2 tablespoons peanut butter, and 2 tablespoons blend. It was terrible. It was very salty and had an artificial sweetener aftertaste. It was grainy and chalky in my nutritional value even after a minute. I was worried as I have this huge container that I couldn't get back. Next time I tried just light vanilla soymilk (2 cups) and just 1 scoop of powder. It was better but not better. It packs a salty punch on the first sip and then fades away with that fake sweet aftertaste. This is the latest, I think the best so far. I used about a cup and a half of vanilla almond milk (I accidentally bought soy milk and still prefer almond milk), 5-6 ice cubes, and 1.5 scoops of powder. It has a consistency almost like thawed non-dairy Wendy's Frosty. It's still a bit chalky, but don't worry, the ice will help. It still has that weird salty taste, but it's not terrible, and maybe it's actually pea protein? I've never had a plant-based protein shake, so I don't know it or how to take it. The fake sweet taste is still there, but it's not that bad. I think I can get through the rest of this container using this method. I think what he's doing is ok. I got it as a meal replacement for protein. I usually make some fried or steamed vegetable combos for dinner, and I eat tofu, beans, and lentils all the time, which aren't quite my taste yet. So I wanted to make sure I was getting enough protein through my runs and workouts. I don't think I'm getting the full effect just because using two scoops of powder is too much flavor and too much grainy chalk. This is just my opinion, I relied on other reviews and don't think I had the same experience. I don't like that you can't return it, although I totally understand; You cannot resell opened containers. However, you should make sample packs or smaller containers. If they are, but I haven't seen them, then it doesn't matter.
