Got this stand for my 15.6" laptop. The stand is made of aluminum. Net weight is 1.45 kg. Dimensions folded: L=11", W=10", H=2". Fairly light and adjustable in angle and height. There is a hex wrench in the box but there isn't a word about it in the manual. . After research found it I found out that it is used to loosen the mounting screws to easily adjust the angle of the top platform and middle leg. Also the middle leg can be adjusted in length. The top platform is not long enough for my 15.6". -Laptop. As you can see in the photo, the laptop has become longer. To improve ventilation and reduce laptop overheating, I glued extra legs, now the laptop does not stand on them. The distance between the bottom of the laptops and the top deck is about 0.1" (2.5mm). Cutouts on the top deck prevent access to the vents on the bottom of the laptop. It would be better if the cutouts were longer and there s upper deck could adjust the length by yourself. The owner's manual says a working load of 22 lbs (10 kg). I decided to check this number. 22 lbs and the stand couldn't handle that much weight. It may be possible to find the right platform angle to keep the stand from falling, but I didn't spend time researching some additional transformations.
