This pen glides smoothly across the screen. I had a similar one, and it seemed to me that it just randomly turns off or stops in the middle of writing or drawing. I didn't have that problem with this pen. I ended up having to put a screen protector on my Surface Pro due to fingerprints, but even with the screen protector on, this stylus still glides like nothing. I use my pro tool to create a lot of different illustrations and with my old stylus I couldn't even sign my name without problems. With it I can easily write my name, take notes, draw, sketch and do whatever I need this pen for. I love that it comes with extra tips and different tips and it's really easy to change them. I like the buttons on the side, which took some getting used to, but now I've got the hang of it. I've had this pen for about 2 weeks now and use it daily. Even with daily use, I still have the same battery as the first day. Energy saving and so much fun to use.
