Review on 💿 Verbatim 4 7GB Recordable Media Disc: High-Performance Storage Solution! by Tony Wilson

In my experience, Verbatim's reliability is almost unbeatable. I can't name any other media manufacturer I trust other than Taiyo Yuden. But those discs were terrible. I'm less than half the spindle on a VHS ripping project and with 40 discs I'm having trouble copying files from three discs. One of the three was partially unreadable on three different discs and I had to overwrite the tape. I've used 50 spindle TDK discs in the same process without a single failure. I strongly suspect that I received counterfeit discs, but it's possible I just received my first "bad batch" of Verbatim. If I could I would give them less than one star. There's nothing worse than thinking you have a copy of something and then realizing your hard drive is junk.
