My wife and I have a Nook HD. Your original B&N cable stopped working. We bought them to charge and have a spare. They seem pretty flimsy, but they work well for charging. They don't work to connect my Nook HD to my computer. The computer makes a sound indicating it knows something is connected, but nothing is recognized. They were very inexpensive and worked well after first removing the cable and then plugging it back into the port. They sat down badly the first time. I would recommend them as a backup charger, but not a full cable replacement for a Nook HD as they can't sync data (or at least not for my Nook HD or my wife.
