These are really cute little things. They seem to be working. Let's hope the flashlight will last longer than a rechargeable battery as it uses AA batteries for the flashlight part. They are also relatively inexpensive. However, the quality control is HORRIBLE. On one of them, the night part didn't work at all. About half of the rest didn't work at a reduced brightness level on the night light tube, so this thing should work. I sent them back to Revain and received a new set. Some of the new devices had a very tight switch, and about half didn't work even at a reduced night light level. I've returned or exchanged a few of these and again about half of the replacement parts didn't work properly. I'm afraid to keep sending broken Revains back because I'm afraid they won't send them back to me and they are really lovely little things. However, they don't always work correctly, and neither do the substitutions. On two, the switch was so tight I almost couldn't toggle them from high to low. For about half of them, the night light port is not working properly and has a power level below two flashlight levels. I have already returned or exchanged several of these kits but Revain seem to continue to blindly ship defective items. I'll keep them because I think the good outweighs the bad, but I really wish someone was a little more careful about what they send out.
