y’all, ive tried everything lip balm on the market I swear, and nothing has worked. ive tried aquaphor, burt’s bees, vaseline, carmex, all the ointments, everything. I bite my lips a lot and I lick them a lot by habit. this lip balm is amazing. it doesn’t soak in super fast so it actually stays on for hours. my lips feel better after an hour of wearing it. they were raw and painful and red and they’re literally back to normal after 3 hours. buy this!

O'Keefe's is a brand that I trust. I know if I purchase an item from them it is going to work well.What I received: two lip repair petrolatum balms. It contains 30% petrolatum. I bought these because I heard this was a very good brand. I had high hopes. It did nothing, in fact my lips became more dry and started peeling from this. I’d out it on throughout the day and before bed. Just like all the other trash balms. I wasted my money.

I have a blood disorder that causes my lips to peel and bleed. My lips get so dry at night, they crack; so, I have to have a chapstick that coats. After finding O'Keefe's chapstick, I was hooked. However, the medicated chapstick coats better than the original, doesn't have a smell to me, and the coating last all night. I will buy more.

This is a wonderful lip balm. I gave a 1 for sun protections because I don't use it for that, so I don't know.I use the product for basic overnight moisturizing, and it works wonderfully. I don't notice any flavor or scent. - Just generous moisturization that lasts for hours and provides immediate relief.I'm happy with my purchase and have repurchased many times.

I find this helps more with preventing cracking but doesn't heal as good as I had hoped. It's not quite as smooth as I wanted, and has a waxy feel to it. I do like the applicator tubes and there is plenty in here which is nice.

Kid's on a round of Accutane medication, and its drying effects are legendary. Started with standard Chapstick, moved to Aquaphor, but still had super-cracked lips. Have had a tough time finding lip balms that work so was excited by the reviews. Bought a huge quantity wanting to love.Unfortunately as with all O’Keefes products it just didn’t work for me. I’ve had much better luck with the Blistex brand for lips - this one was no different than a generic chapstick to me. Had no effect at all. Reapplied many times and my lips still felt dry. I have to admit, for medicated lip gloss, I still prefer my Chapstick Medicated when my lips are hurting or a cold sore is threatening. But if the menthol bothers you on those, this O'Keeffe's version is a fine option. It's not nearly as strong with the "medicated" ingredients. They are barely detectable by taste at all and that faint taste dissipates quickly. Okeefe’s is usually so great- I love their lotions! That being said, this coats your lips and makes them feel weird. I’m not a fan.
