NOTE. The light I received is different from what is currently on sale. He only had 3 modes with different brightness. It had no flashing modes at all. This flashlight is very bright, but I got less than 2 hours of runtime with this flashlight at its brightest setting, so I usually used it on medium to low. The bracket was difficult to attach and detach again. When setting up the light at night, I often wondered if it was properly attached. There was no satisfying "click" sensation to let me know the locking mechanism had worked. Once, in the middle of a ride, he fell after a particularly large pothole. In fact, the flexible mount itself stayed firmly attached to the seatpost, the only issue I had was between the light and the mount itself. Finally, it was difficult to tell when this flashlight needed to be charged. It remains at its highest brightness until it suddenly fades out. To avoid tiring the battery I wouldn't charge it after every ride so this is probably user error. That being said, other light systems I've used have a small LED indicator that flashes or changes color when the light is about to charge. I wish it had this feature, but that might be why the product was so cheap. . Overall this is a good product that needs some work. I would probably try a Blitzu product again but will only buy one that has a flashing mode as I feel the always on mode is not as noticeable and drains the battery faster.
