Review on πŸŽ’ Spartan Trekking Pack by BattlBox - Optimized Backpack for Outdoor Adventures by Brian Tompkins

Just get the best at Camping & Hiking

Not being a Battlebox subscriber I still see the value of this bag as many like minded people in the community have contributed. The large side pockets are very welcome and can even be expanded with mesh for a larger bottle when open. The large 3-way front zip feels very solid and there was only a spot or two along any seams that I had to clean with a lighter, which is to be expected. The large interior has a minimum of pockets, which is good as it leaves plenty of room for small bags or all your belongings inside. There are two on the sides of each side that run the entire length. Both the hydration pocket and the top flap pocket are a good size and I always get more out of this outer top pocket than I think. All in all a great bag and if you are looking for a large open top bag with waist support (non detachable) then this bag would make a great day or night pack for you. Can even be packed within three days if required. My only criticism of the bag is that the only color it comes in is Ranger Olive Green. I would at least prefer black as an alternative. In general, if you're even thinking about it, go for it! Wherever bags of this size have failed, this one has prevailed, and as said, it seems to be down to the community actually using the gear.

Pros
  • Camping & Hiking
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
