I'm pleased with my purchase of these. The ated r1700bts model, however, is already out and available for purchase (although exclusively in the United States) for a mere $10 more than its predecessor. The newer model is obviously superior to the older one, what with its improved remote control and subwoofer power. Additionally, aptX is now supported in Bluetooth's newest version (5.0). If I recall properly, there was a surround sound option as well. I'm a little bummed out that I was in such a rush. However, we don't know how much the new model will set us back or when it will hit the CIS market.
