Review on Wireless Marshall Mid Bluetooth Headphones, Black by Mateusz Mazurkiewicz ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Product satisfying the quality of the product, good price.

Sound quality. Before you buy wireless monitors (and then blame their quality), figure out what you are buying (in general). Otherwise, you can spend 9K on ears that will play like those for 500 in a kiosk. Everything will not fit here, so the initial article for those who just want to buy BT ears: My case: Icomnnected my ears to the phone, I was disappointed with the sound quality, but not much, because. knew roughly what to expect. But what surprised me was the similarity of the music scene with the headphones that I bought for fun at the sale (it was just interesting to understand what Chinese ears can do for 1.5K) Bluedio T4s. It got me interested. Realizing that I won’t get anything from the phone-ears bundle, Icomnnected my ears to the poppy pro via BT. And. I heard exactly the same sound. My disappointment knew no bounds. Gathering his thoughts in a heap, he began tocomnvulsively think about what was wrong. As a result, by default, the poppy plays BT with the standard SBCcomdec (just like in the phone - it does not support aptX). After I set up aptX sound on a poppy, lo and behold! ears played exactly as they should! No porridge, no booming bass, no high top, no anarchy! Hooray! The difference between SBC and aptX is very significant (for those who can hear it). The next day, in anticipation of listening to music on the new monitors, I turned on poppy ears and. eklmn! again the sound is porridge, booming basses and that's all. It turned out: the ears were hooked on AAC. (yes, as it turns out, they can do that too). I did not notice a strong difference between AAC and SBC, or rather, did not notice at all. ==== Moral and bottom line: The Marshall MID is only worth buying if your device(s) supports aptX. Otherwise, (if you don't hear the difference) it's wasted money (buy the same Bluedio for 1.5k and rejoice), or (if you hear the difference) acommplete disappointment. iPhone (none) don't support aptX, AAC - plays just as bad as SBC.

Pros
  • About the sound - in the comments. + Build quality; + Quality of materials; + Joystick control; Separately, I would like to highlight the joystick - an ingenious solution. Very convenient management. ThinkPad fans will definitely appreciate it :) + Landing on the head; You can play sports. + Battery. Tired of planting; ) The only problem: a small indicator and you need to peer at what color is on, and in general, remember this, :) otherwise you can be left without a charge.
Cons
  • As you know, the advantages are a continuation of the disadvantages :) Due to the tight fit - puts a lot of pressure on the ears; I had enough monitor headphones, after a short time my ears get used to it. But for girls, a strict alarm (especially as a gift). -no multipoint for blue tooth; You have to connect your ears to the devices every time with your hands. Wildly annoying. - sometimes the music disappears; At the same time, it can happen 30 cm from the phone and play perfectly at 10 meters. And all this at home, or in other rooms. Floating problem, not often, but it happens. - AAC. Plays like SBC. (Apparently AAC is used only as a shell - transport). ===== This is not a minus of the device, this is a feature of codecs and the A2DP protocol (and applies to absolutely all devices with BT) There was not enough space in the comment, so here (read the comment first): If your device (phone, or what you plan to listen to) does not support aptX, buying a MID (nothing to do with headphones) is money thrown away. You will hear the sound that any Chinese play for 1.5k and cheaper, according to the standard SBC protocol, which is not initially adapted for listening to high-quality music. If you do not hear the difference (you are lucky (or not -)) and you will be satisfied with the purchase), if you hear, you will be disappointed. For iPhone owners: AAC plays just as badly as SBC (at least on these ears), only aptX sounds normal.
