I had one of the wire mounts then got a new transponder so decided to try this one. The first 5 months or so it was fantastic. It was late summer and the heat didn't handle it well and the bracket warped. If I had to make a sharp turn, the transponder would fall out of its holder. Then last month my car was supposed to be in the shop for about a month and I had to use it in another car. Now that the mount is off it doesn't hold up very well. But the biggest problem is that the suction cups don't stick to the mount very securely due to deformation. While it works, I liked the wire attachment MUCH better.
